Empower vulnerable youths and other community members.

Together we can empower vulnerable youths and other community members

Since its inception, Skills and Talent Arena (STA) has a mission to empower every vulnerable youth and other community members to become self-reliant and able to effectively contribute socio-economically towards community development.

What we do

We empower vulnerable youths and other community members for socio-economic development.

What We Do

Promote Talents Enhancement Programs for vulnerable youths.

We so much believe that every individual has a talent or can at least acquire a survival skill. Through our Skills and Talent Enhancement interventions, we thrive to encourage, showcase, equip and network vulnerable youths and other community members with opportunities for growth and enhancement.

Economic Empowerment

Given that we are thriving for a community where youths (men and women) can actively participate and make meaningful contributions towards the progress of the community, we equally design and carry out projects that create avenues for improvement of the capacity of both women and men enabling them to represent their interests in a responsible and self-determined way.

Fight Gender-Based Violence

Gender-based violence (GBV) is a serious violation of human rights and a life-threatening health and protection issue. Going by this, STA preaches and fights against GBV in every way possible within her capacity. With the belief we have that the first line of prevention is education, our strategy in fighting GBV includes, educating STA team members and other community members about GBV, raising awareness, and providing referral services to survivors of GBV.

Sustainable Development

With the idea that communities must live and meet their needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, STA encourages the participation of youths and other community members in promoting sustainable development goals so that our communities can exist in the long term.
